Double Mini classes at Rise!! 

A Double Mini is a slanted bed trampoline that consists of three segments. The mounter bed, Spotter bed and Dismount. This class is designed for athletes that would like to learn something new and different. They will learn the basis skill necessary on the apparatus. Basic skills include straight jumps, tuck jumps, pike jumps, and straddle jumps.


Double Mini is an apparatus used in competitive gymnastic trampoline and tumbling.

Trampoline classes are new at Rise!! 

 

  This class is designed for athletes that would like to learn something new and different. Gymnastic trampoline, athletes will learn all of the basis skills required as well as high level skills. Some of the skills included will be basic jumps such as tucks jumps, straddle jumps, and pike jumps. They will advance to skills such as front tucks, all types of baranis, back tucks and twisting skills.

Star Dust (Ages 1yr-2yrs)

Star Dust is the beginning of a child's life in a gym. This class focuses on teaching children balance, coordination, motor skills and the very basics of tumbling instruction. This is the age that we like to have children learn to listen to an instructor/coach on their own (Parents will not be joining them in class). 

Little Stars(Ages 2yrs-3yrs) & Big Stars (Ages 3yrs-4yrs)

Basic Gymnastics/Tumbling- no experience. Little Stars & Big Stars classes are a great way to prepare our children physically, however it is well documented that children that participate in tumbling are better prepared for preschool, prekindergarten and school in general. Our classes focus on social awareness, taking turns, waiting in line, following instruction and developing friendships. All of this and they will learn all the beginning basics of tumbling. Little Stars must be able to demonstrate beginning skills independently prior to moving up to the Big Stars Class.

Little Dippers (Ages 5+)-Basic Tumbling


No experience or little experience, able to perform basic tumbling skills, and follow instructions given.

At this age/skill level, children look for more challenging activities. They are aware of connections with instructors/coaches and their peers. 

In our Little Dippers classes children graduate from our preschool tumbling equipment and begin training on the equipment used by our intermediate and Junior Olympic equipment. Rise instructors/coaches will begin to teach our Little Dippers tumbling passes used by USA gymnastics.

Big Dippers-Basic Tumbling

Little Dippers (Ages 5+)-Basic Tumbling

Little tumbling experience, able to perform all skills learned in our Little Dippers classes, and follow instructions given.

Our Big Dippers learn what it is to become an athlete by following our curriculum based on passes used in USA gymnastics Power Tumbling.

Using our intermediate and Junior Olympic tumbling equipment Big Dippers will have mastered all requirements of our lower level classes and begin to work on technique, properly executing skills, and learning to safe land.

Junior Tumbling- tumbling experience and back flexibility, able to perform all skills learned in our lower level classes, and follow instructions given.

Our Shooting Stars follow passes used in USA gymnastics Power Tumbling.

Using our intermediate and Junior Olympic tumbling equipment these athletes begin to learn backbends and continue to work proper form and technique from our lower level classes.

Meteors-Junior Tumbling

Junior Tumbling- tumbling experience, back flexibility, and skill execution is required. These athletes can perform all skills learned in our lower level classes, and follow instructions given.

Our Meteors follow passes used in USA gymnastics Power Tumbling.

Using our intermediate and Junior Olympic tumbling equipment these athletes begin to learn backbends, backbend kickovers, and continue to work proper form and technique from our lower level classes.

Intermediate Tumbling- tumbling experience, back flexibility, and skill execution is required. These athletes can perform all skills learned in our lower level classes, and follow instructions given.

Our Asteroids follow passes used in USA gymnastics Power Tumbling.

Using our intermediate and Junior Olympic tumbling equipment these athletes work on backbend kickovers and begin back walkovers while continuing to work proper form and technique from our lower level classes.

Gamma-Rays-Advanced Tumbling

Advanced Tumbling- tumbling experience, back flexibility, and skill execution is required. These athletes can perform all skills learned in our lower level classes, and follow instructions given.

Our Gamma-Rays follow passes used in USA gymnastics Power Tumbling.

Using our intermediate and Junior Olympic tumbling equipment these athletes have learned a non-spotted back walkover, back extension rolls, and basics of a back handspring. Gamma-Rays will learn back handsprings, work on connections, and front tumble skills while maintaining proper form and technique from our lower level classes.

Advanced Tumbling- tumbling experience required!!

Pre-Team is a class designed for High level tumblers. Athletes are well trained in all low level and intermediate level skills. These athletes should be able to independently perform back handsprings. This class focuses on connections, technique, and form. Athletes learn and work on all previously learned skills as well as tucks, pikes, straights, layouts, and rotation skills. We have designed the Pre-Team class for only serious athletes that are focused and driven to succeed.
